Glas Werk was founded by Maik Bollhorn in 1990.  Maik's 11 years of experience prior to the establishment of Glas Werk includes a completed apprenticeship at Westdeutsche Quarzschmelze (WQS) in Germany where Maik excelled in his field. A subsequent position as production manager at a major U.S. glass blowing corporation enhanced Maik's abilities and prepared him to create a new kind of custom quartz company. A company that integrates precision craftsmanship while striving to build long term client relationships based on mutual trust and respect.
